Charitable giving is the act of giving money, goods or time to the unfortunate, either directly or by means of a charitable trust or other worthy cause. Charitable giving as a religious act or duty is referred to as almsgiving or alms. The name stems from the most obvious expression of the virtue of charity is giving the objects of it the means they need to survive.
Most people don’t like giving anything. But honestly, what goes around, comes around. You have to give to get. We work our whole lives to buy things we possibly don’t even need. While other people don’t seem to have the same option as the next person. In the US we waste more then anyone in the world, whether it be food, money or time. Everyone seems to think everything is for the taking, and to give nothing back. When do you have knowledge or resources to give back I feel everyone should give a piece of what they can give back to the community. Lets keep it simple and bring it back to basics.
Because deep down $100 is not going to break anyone’s bank account, and helping someone for an hour of your time is so little in the scheme of things. We are all always busy aren’t we. Sometimes everyone needs to take a time out and do something for themselves and for someone else for once. Here are the list of organizations I donate my time and money towards.
